The short version

We collect what you send us — an enquiry, a specification, a request for a viewing — and we use it to answer you. We do not sell it, we do not trade it, and we do not hand it to anyone who is not helping us run the business. If you want it deleted, say so and it is deleted.

Who we are

Signature Catamarans is the exclusive Lagoon dealer for the United States Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, with offices in Newport RI, Sag Harbor NY, New York NY, Annapolis MD and Hayes VA. We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us the controller of it. Write to info@signaturecatamarans.com about anything on this page.

What you give us

Enquiries and viewing requests. Your name, email, telephone, the model you are interested in and whatever you type in the message.
Specifications from the builder. If you configure a Lagoon on this site and send it to us, we receive the specification along with your contact details.
Brokerage and trade-in enquiries. Details of the boat you own, if you choose to tell us about it.
Email subscriptions. Your email address, and whether you opened or clicked what we sent.

Your shortlist is not in this list. It is kept in your own browser and never reaches us.

What is collected automatically

Only if you accept analytics cookies. In that case Google Analytics 4 records which pages you read, roughly where you are and what browser you used; Google Ads records whether an enquiry followed an advertisement. Reject, and neither is requested at all. The full detail is in our cookie policy.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and arrange a viewing, a sea trial or a delivery slot.
To prepare a quotation or place an order with the yard, when you ask us to.
To send you news about the range and our events — only if you asked for it.
To meet our obligations when a boat is actually sold.

Who else sees it

Only companies that help us operate, and only for that purpose:

Amazon Web Services — this site and the form that receives your enquiry are hosted in the United States.
monday.com — where enquiries are recorded so nothing is lost between the first call and the handover.
Brevo — the platform that sends our emails, if you subscribed.
Google — analytics and advertising measurement, with your consent.
Lagoon — only when you ask us to order a boat or arrange a visit to the yard.

We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not give it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay on file for three years from your last contact with us, because a catamaran is rarely a three-month decision. Email subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Records tied to a completed sale are kept for as long as the tax and warranty rules require. After that it goes.

Your choices

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change what is collected. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — including if you are in California, where you also have the right not to be treated differently for asking. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may additionally complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is meant for adults buying a boat. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than made quietly.
