What we store on your device, and why.

The short version
This site works without tracking you. We ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary, and nothing in the analytics or advertising categories loads unless you accept. If you reject, no third-party scripts are requested at all — not loaded-but-disabled, simply not requested.
Strictly necessary
These do not require consent because the site cannot function without them.
- Your cookie choice. We store whether you accepted or rejected in your browser’s local storage, so we do not ask again on every page.
- Your shortlist. If you save boats to a shortlist, that list is kept in your own browser. It is never sent to us.
- Service worker cache. Pages and images are cached locally so the site loads quickly and works with a poor connection.
None of the above is shared with anyone, and none of it identifies you.
Analytics and advertising
Only with your consent. These would let us understand which pages are useful and measure whether our advertising reaches the right people.
- Google Analytics 4 — how many people visit, which pages they read.
- Google Ads — whether an enquiry followed an advertisement.
We use Google Consent Mode, so these start in a denied state and are only activated if you accept.
Video
Films on this site show a still image until you press play. Only then is YouTube contacted, and we use youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set advertising cookies unless you interact with the player. The background film on the home page is served from our own site and sets nothing.
Forms
When you send us an enquiry we receive what you typed — your name, contact details and message — because that is how we reply to you. That is not a cookie and it is not tracking; it is the enquiry itself.
Changing your mind
Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice. Rejecting after having accepted stops any further collection immediately. You can also clear cookies and site data for this site in your browser settings, which removes everything described above.
Asking us
Write to info@signaturecatamarans.com and we will answer. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access, correct or erase the personal data we hold about you, and to complain to your national data protection authority.
