Where the range stops being a big boat

Four cabins at owner scale, or six if the boat has to work. The hydraulic transom platform lifts to carry the tender and drops to become the swim step, which is the kind of detail that sounds like a brochure feature until the first time you launch a dinghy without three people and a halyard.

Solar that actually covers the day

Around 3 kW on the coachroof — enough, in reviewers’ testing, to carry the house load at anchor with everything except air conditioning. That is not off-grid marketing; it is one less generator hour per day.
