Charter Opportunities
A real structure, not a marketing line — and it carries real conditions.

The boat earns while you're not aboard
A managed program places your Lagoon with an operator who charters her when you aren't using her. You keep agreed owner weeks, the operator handles bookings, cleaning and turnarounds, and the income offsets part of the cost of ownership.
It suits an owner who sails a defined number of weeks a year and would rather the boat worked than sat. It does not suit someone who wants her available on a whim.

What decides whether it works
Owner weeks come out of the peak
The weeks you most want the boat are the weeks she earns most. Every program negotiates this, and it is the term to read first.
Wear is real and it is yours
A chartered boat sees more hours and more hands than a private one. Budget for it, and specify the boat accordingly — this is where deck gear and upholstery choices pay for themselves.
The tax position is not automatic
Charter income and business-use deductions are separate questions with separate tests. See Boat as an Active LLC, where we set out the rules that disqualify people as plainly as the ones that qualify them.
Design the Lagoon you actually want
Start with a model, shape the layout and finishes, then send the specification to our team. No obligation — just a real starting point.
